to fundamentally transform the Benefit Management for the poorest of
the poor in India.
By helping to initiate Micro-Health Insurance, SaveLifeXpress has
evolved a benefit plan that operates on the basic formulary evolved by
WHO and substituted non-branded Generic for each drug products
admissible under the plan. These product are contract manufactured by
SaveLifeXpress from manufacturers who have compulsorily implemented
ADAPT and have the stringent GMP compliant processes. This helps
reduce the cost of each procedure by almost 50% to 80% which inturn
reflects on the premium of the plan. Implementing a plan specific
Group Purchase Organization further helps in bringing down the costs.
ThinkGen is also actively pursuing the model in Middle-East and S.E.
Asia and later hopes to expand this model to even residents of the US
who otherwise cannot afford a routine Insurance Plan.
SaveLifeXpress is a technical platform that facilities optimal and
rational use of drugs, while at the same time normalizing medical
information and facilitating smart supply chain management. In
the process cutting through red tape and preventing cost inflation
through the involvement of long chains of redundant processes and
middlemen. Through SaveLifeXpress all a doctor or patient needs
to do is to validate and then transact on an electronic platform.
